A blog is a great thing for a book club. We don't have to wait till the meeting to discuss the book. Questions or thoughts about the book that occur while reading can be discussed at the moment they occur. Ideas for our meeting can be posted, including things we'd like to do and things we don't want to do . . . and what are we having for refreshments??
